WWE: 10 Life Lessons From Chris Jericho Every Man Must Follow

7. "Don't Be An A** Clown!" - Respect And Be Pleasant To Others

chris-jericho It goes along way in life to treat others with kindness, respect and appreciation. In my personal experience, Chris Jericho absolutely lives with this ethos. He along with Jeff Hardy was the only wrestler to stay back to sign autographs at a WWE show I attended many years ago. Most years nobody bothers. Jericho is different. While most people head for the tour bus, Jericho walked the length of the Arena lot to come to the gates where WWE fans waited. He then spent a significant amount of time signing autographs and joking with fans. He signed my ticket and shook hands. That's a class act and it has its own fulfilment. A year later I watched Jericho live with Fozzy and being in the front row had some banter with the star between songs. He made time to pose for photographs and exchange high fives. Some frontmen might have got angry about flash photography close up in their face as they performed, but not Jericho, he encouraged it. By treating others so well I'm sure he has increased his own success, fans are more likely to buy his t shirt, more likely to pay to watch him perform again. Jericho treats his fans brilliantly and as a result is one of the most popular wrestlers ever. So don't be an a** clown to people, in the long run it pays to be nice!
