5. Cena's Libido (Allegedly) Destroyed The Careers Of Kenny Dykstra And Mickie James
Apparently Super Cena has a libido to match, and in its wake no one is safe. Take former WWE talents Kenny Dykstra and Mickie James for example. In 2009 Dykstra and James were engaged to be married. The former was one of the youngest performers ever to secure a contract with the company and, with notable spots in programs with DX, the McMahons, and Ric Flair on his resume, seemed poised for upper card stardom. The latter was a proven talent who'd largely carried WWE's women's division throughout the mid-to-late-2000s. By the beginning of 2010, however, both stars had plummeted down the card, all the way to future-endeavor-ville. So what happened? According to Dykstra (real name Kenn Doane), who took to twitter in June of 2007 to reveal the "true story," it was an affair between James and Cena that led to the pair's fall from grace. According to Doane, when Cena and James began hooking up, WWE officials transferred him to Smackdown, to get him out of the way. Once there he was booked to run out his contract as a glorified jobber. Similarly, and again according to Doane, once the fling between James and Cena fizzled out, James was also moved to Smackdown, where she was saddled with the unflattering (not to mention creatively abysmal) "Piggy James" program, before her eventual release in early 2010. Of course, these reports are unsubstantiated, but Doane asserts that he has no reason to fabricate such a story, concluding his Twitter tell-all with the eloquent summation: " has heat towards me. I really don't care either way. I'm just being honest. Not my fault he did dumb s--t. #youcanthandlethetruth."
