WWE: 10 Most Memorable Moments In Royal Rumble History

2. Shawn Michaels Holds On For Dear Life (1995)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLlqsqqABe4 Another controversial Rumble finish occurred in 1995, when the final two entrants were also the first two, Shawn Michaels and The British Bulldog respectively. Bulldog appeared to eliminate HBK and win the Rumble, even going to celebrate on the top turnbuckle, but suddenly HBK came back in the ring and threw Davey Boy out, being declared the winner because when Bulldog threw him out, his feet never hit the floor. Cut to an awesome replay of Michaels hanging onto the rope for dear life, with his feet not touching the floor at the same time. As such, he wasn't eliminated, and was the winner. We'll try and forget that someone made the dumb decision to make the wrestlers enter every 60 seconds (therefore devaluing the grueling aspect of the Rumble match), and that this set up one of if not the worst WrestleMania event in history.
