3. X-Pac And The Next DX
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1khfMehIzo After Shawn Michaels dropped the WWF Championship to Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, the Heartbreak Kid needed to take a sabbatical to rehab his injured back. Fellow D-Generation X member Triple H came out that night on Raw without Michaels, but with Chyna, and announced he would be starting "the Genesis of D-Generation X" that night. And to that degree, he introduced his old friend from the Clique, Sean Waltman. Not yet named "X-Pac," and no longer the "1-2-3 Kid," Waltman cut a scathing promo on Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and WCW. That return on its own would have been enough, but following the commercial break, the New Age Outlaws faced Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie in a rematch for the WWF Tag Team Championships in a steel cage. Towards the end of the match, Triple H, Chyna, and X-Pac came down to assist Road Dogg and Bad Ass in winning the match, and the titles, and reforming D-Generation X. From that point on, DX had just about the most successful 365-day run any stable has had in the history of the WWE.
