WWE: 10 Men Most Likely To End Daniel Bryan's Title Reign

5. Triple H

Maybe not in the way you might think. Triple H has been retired from regular in-ring action for a good few years now. He still steps in the ring every now and then, because he's also on a wrestler's contract as well as a management contract, and he needs to justify it. So the chances of Triple H taking the title personally are not that good. But he can act as the man behind whoever does take it. For the majority of 2013, Triple H kept a benign face, even when going out of his way to screw Daniel Bryan. But in the lead up to Wrestlemania, he lost his cool, they laid hands on each other and at 'Mania, they finally had their match together. Think that's the end of the storyline? Not a chance. The kid gloves are off, guys, it's time to knuckle down and get serious, because now the situation is different. Now that Triple H and Daniel Bryan are open adversaries, this is when all the really fun stuff happens. Triple H is now the Vince McMahon to Bryan's Stone Cold Steve Austin, if you will. Think of everything that Vince used to do to try and cost Austin the title. He stripped him of the belt on technicalities, he fired him, he banned him from competing, he put him in matches with impossible stipulations against near insurmountable odds. This could well be the smartest way to book Bryan now that he has the belt, with Triple H and the Authority still on his case every day. Austin never felt like the underdog, he was a badass with the odds stacked against him. Book Bryan the same way, and it could be the second coming of the Attitude era.
