WWE: 10 Most Unoriginal Aspects Of The Fiend

9. Invincibility

By the time ‘The Fiend’ debuted at SummerSlam 2019, there was nothing anyone could do to stop him from hunting down his enemies. Several legends and Finn Balor quickly realized no amount of offense would affect the murder clown before them.

Such invulnerability wasn’t lost after months either if you cared to ignore the whole Goldberg thing. At Hell in a Cell (hold your jeers, please) 2019, Wyatt took hard kendo stick shots to the abdomen without flinching, as well as no-sold The Stomp eleven times and the Pedigree once. He went on to kick out of everything Rollins gave him at Crown Jewel and win the big belt. He was impervious to Yes Kicks.

When used sparsely, no-selling shocked fans and encouraged chants of “Holy Sh*t.” But it was far from an original concept. From Hulk Hogan to The Undertaker, too many wrestlers have kept the special card of invincibly in their deck to say it belongs to one of them in particular. Still, it certainly doesn’t belong to Wyatt. And only time will tell if he becomes more mortal over time, as seen with ‘The Deadman,’ Kane, and Braun Strowman.
