Heath Slater above Wade Barrett? Above Ryback? This three-time tag team champion has worked with the likes of Vader, Diamond Dallas Page and Sycho Sid, as well as having his own personal niche rather starkly carved with his current position as the leader of his Three Man Band alongside Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. If your definition of 'success' is main-eventing Wrestlemania, Slater is not a success story, but if it's working your way into the very fibre of the WWE then Slater is well on his way. Slater offers a two-pronged appeal - one side being that of a beleaguered jobber like the Brooklyn Brawler and the other half being a cartoonish comedy in the mould of Santino Marella. It's difficult to predict what the future holds for Slater and his Three Man Band, but as a capable wrestler with a shtick that could run for years, it's a safe bet that he'll have some place on WWE TV.
