http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4sHR_aHMSk Collaboration. Without it wrestlers would be nothing. This match from WCW's supershow Clash Of The Champions shows what collaboration can do for wrestlers. Ric Flair was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion and he took on rising star Sting. Before the match Sting wasn't perceived by fans on Ric Flair's level, yet after the match, he was. They created a story where Sting could hang with wrestling star 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, which no one could do. Sting was brash and could out-power Flair, something which The Nature Boy was not used to. As a result, he started using his dirty tactics and would viciously zone in on specific parts of his opponent's anatomy. It's a compelling story but the effort of both men, but especially Flair to be selfless in trying to elevate Sting to make him look like a superstar. The art of wrestling is the ability of two performers to make the audience believe in what they are doing in the ring and what that means for the wrestlers in storylines in regards to main events and championships.
