9. Sheamus

Another possibility for Batista is none other than Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior has been out of action for quite some time now after suffering a torn labrum in his shoulder which has seen him miss almost five months of in-ring action. It has been heavily speculated that Sheamus will be one of the surprise returnees at the Royal Rumble in January, and now it looks as if Batista will also be in the Royal Rumble. If a match between the two is set to happen down the line it would definitely need to be instigated at the Rumble. If any confrontation does occur then it will be the obvious setting, as one will eliminate the other and sets up a match for WrestleMania. Usually this kind of feud is predictable but this match will be an exciting prospect which fans will be excited to witness, especially at WrestleMania. Both men are big and powerful and both have the ability to not only put on a tense feud but a great match. Especially with their aggressive attacking and powerful offense. The biggest question mark with this is whether Sheamus will be able to carry Batista as well as superstars such as CM Punk can. If Sheamus is capable of it then this feud will work and the WWE will avoid a disaster.
