5. Del Rio's Placement On The Card

From @thejvidakovich: What's going on with Alberto Del Rio being anywhere NEAR a championship match and why are they tormenting poor Damien Sandow?

There are always certain guys that Vince McMahon has a soft spot for. With a guy like Del Rio, it's a case of McMahon likely really enjoying the character of a rich aristocrat that is a jerk to people. It's a gimmick that they have done for decades first with Ted Dibiase, then with JBL and now with Del Rio. McMahon likes that kind of character. The fans have shown they don't care about Del Rio anymore, yet he's still getting pushed on TV as if he's a big deal. Del Rio's in the WWE WHC ladder match, but he has very little chance of winning it. He's a solid wrestler that will do his part as a veteran performer to make it work. McMahon may be a fan of his, but a lot of fans are losing interest. Regarding Sandow, it's hard to know why they are booking him the way they are or why they think it's productive. All we can do is hope that it changes sooner rather than later because what they're doing with him these days is pretty dumb.
