WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (June 7)

5. WWE Travel Schedule

From @burninpaperhart: With the recent economic uncertainties will we see WWE travel less around the US and visit bigger cities more frequently for tapings?
The business of WWE is fine. They're not really going up right now, but they wouldn't be going too much if not for the risk involved with WWE Network. If you look at things like house show attendance it's about where it has been for the last several years. There's no Steve Austin or Rock around to main event shows that sell out all the time like they did 15 years ago. An average WWE weekend sees them run three house shows with one split roster and two with another. Usually Cena is main eventing the one with three. Then they have the TV for Raw and Smackdown. It's a total of seven shows over the course of five days. The only days of the week where they don't have shows are Wednesday & Thursday aside from special circumstances. They usually run TVs in the bigger markets although that's not always the case. The bigger the city usually means bigger crowds and louder fans too. However, it's not always like that. They do tape TVs in some smaller markets once in a while as well. I don't think WWE needs to change what they're doing in terms of live events and TV tapings. They're in a good place these days.
