WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (March 29)

8. Raw On WWE Network

Raw
From @RobynGrayson_: Once a new TV deal is in place will Raw stream live on the WWE Network?
No. That's not something that will happen because WWE will likely be paid $200 million or more per year by whatever company pays them to show Raw and part of that deal will be exclusive rights to show Raw. Obviously that's a serious amount of money and WWE would be foolish to upset anybody that's going to pay them that much. Their best interests would be to take the money, do what the buyer wants them to do and be happy about it. Raw is a very profitable venture for both WWE and current provider USA Network, so that dynamic isn't going to change. What could happen is maybe WWE will show a 90 minute version of Raw on WWE Network the way they do on Hulu Plus now, but even that would be surprising. No word yet on if it's happening or if there's a chance of it. The new WWE TV deal will likely be announced in April or May and it would take effect in October.
