WWE: 10 Questions You Most Want Answered (May 24)

4. Reminding Us Of Owen Hart

From @MrClarkafella: Obviously he can't be duplicated, but who from the current roster reminds you most of Owen on the mic, in the ring or both?
There's really nobody like him. That's not something I'm saying as a tribute to him or anything like that. It's just that Owen had this awesome technical wrestling style that few performers today have because they don't have the kind of training that Owen did. He wasn't just a technical wrestler, though. He could fly when he needed to. He wasn't doing suicide dives over the top, but the man was athletically gifted. The part about Owen that is really hard to duplicate was his personality because when he was a heel he had this silliness about him. Think about when he won the Slammy Awards and he would carry them to the ring. It was so over the top, yet it worked for him. You would always see guys like Davey Boy Smith, Jim Cornette and others laughing it up in the background because he was doing something silly. A guy that was sort of like him was Kurt Angle because he was a technical wrestler that could mix in comedy when he needed to as well. Angle did those over the top celebrations very well just like Owen did. On the current roster, Sami Zayn has a style similar to him although he's a bit more of a high flyer. Tyson Kidd reminds me of Owen a lot although he barely gets TV time other than on NXT. Kidd trained in Calgary under the Hart family and knew Owen well. There really isn't anybody with Owen's personality, though. That's what was so unique about him.
