From @FriscoKTank: Do you feel it's good and/or logical for Natalya to compete for the NXT Divas Title?
I feel like it's a good thing. It's a fair question that also applies to her husband Tyson Kidd. They're both experienced performers with over ten years of in-ring time, yet Tyson is challenging for the NXT Title and Natalya is challenging for the NXT Women's Title at Takeover on May 29th. Ideally, the people that should be competing for those titles are the individuals that haven't been on Raw or Smackdown a lot, much less over five years like Natalya has been. It's a bit silly to see them having to work NXT although it's not a bad thing either. The person that will benefit the most from it is Charlotte, who Natalya faces and will likely lose to in the NXT Women's Title match. Charlotte, the daughter of Ric Flair, will learn a lot that night from having a long match with an experienced veteran like Natalya. From her perspective, if they come to you saying they want you to work on NXT then you absolutely do it because any time you get to perform in front of the cameras is a great thing. As a fan of Natalya and Tyson I love watching them perform no matter what show it is. It would be nice if both of them had bigger roles on the main roster right now, but perhaps their showings in NXT will open the eyes of management a bit.
