WWE: 10 Reasons A War Games Match Should Be Used At Extreme Rules

1. We've Never Seen It Before

At least not in a WWE. And if you're one of the fans who only ever watched WWE and stayed away from WCW, then there's a chance you might not have seen a War Games match ever at all. Just the novelty of having two rings in the arena is interesting. Adding the cage and the staggered entry format makes it even more so. The feeling of uncertainty and unfamiliarity surrounding a match and what it could potentially mean is always one of the most enjoyable feelings to have while watching wrestling. There's also the various aspects that come with it being the first of its kind. People tend to remember the first winner of a gimmick match, the first moments and the first high-spots. The first match usually ends up being the one which all subsequent matches are measured against, and tend to be remembered as the best. Plus it's always exciting when a new match type is introduced. It feels special and exciting, and as a fan you don't want to miss out. It happened with Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber & Money in the Bank matches. There's not been a revolutionary gimmick match in quite a few years, and with the roll WWE seems to be on, now would be the ideal time.
