WWE: 10 Reasons Alexander Rusev Can Be A Top Guy

1. Friends In High Places

Current Executive Vice President of Talent Relations Triple H has overseen the running of NXT and has had a hand in determining who would and would not be called up to the main roster. He watched Rusev evolve in the ring, fast-tracked him and soon, Rusev went from working tag matches in NXT with Scott Dawson to breaking out as a dominant singles competitor with social ambassador Lana guiding him. From there, he began appearing on live events, where he was beating main roster talent on a nightly basis. His call to join the main roster came very quick and his appearance in the 2014 Royal Rumble gave him his first major exposure on WWE programming. That would not have happened if Triple H and other key members of management did not see something in his and decide to push him to the spot he is in now. The Game is a great ally to have in management, especially since he one day figures to run the company. Rusev is clearly a talented individual and the hard work he put in to get him to the main roster is evident. But every once in a while, a talent needs one person to really take an interest in him and be his eyes and ears in the political battleground that is the backstage area in WWE. If it turns out that Triple H, or any other high ranking member of management, really has thrown his support behind Rusev, it could mean even bigger and better things for the "Bulgarian Brute."
