WWE: 10 Reasons Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement Is Dead

10. Playing Second Fiddle To Other Feuds

Throughout the entirety of this article, you may want to read the headline and ask yourself: "Would the WWE have done the same to John Cena?". And although it doesn't apply to each and every reason listed, it certainly stands up with a fair few - including this one. When you're the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and self-professed saviour to the masses, the last thing you want is to be defending your title in the shadow of other feuds. Heck, the World Heavyweight Championship suffered for long enough acting as a second cousin to the WWE Championship - and Daniel Bryan's Yes Movement suffered exactly the same fate. That isn't to say that The Shield vs. Evolution wasn't befitting of a top role in the WWE, but it really did nail a hammer blow to Bryan and his chances of being a credible champion. Fans became engrossed with rivalries that seemed more meaningful, and Daniel Bryan started to slide off the radar, slowly but surely.
