WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Is At A Career Low Point Right Now

2. Pay Is Down

With the WWE network launch the company finds themselves in a position where costs are up and they've also killed the traditional measuring stick for superstar bonuses in PPV buys. This is on top of already declining pay offs, with the video game money in particular being way down the last couple of years. John Cena isn't immune from this, while he is still involved in more money making projects than anyone else, the pay to him is still down like everything else. That's the nature of the beast, you get used to hot money and then when you drop off a bit you feel the pinch of the lesser money. One of the reasons CM Punk quit in January is thought to be the lowering nature of his pay off. The disgruntled sentiment is running wild through the locker room right now and the fact that it has been leaked to insider sites says it all. People within WWE aren't happy with the declining money in 2014 and Cena will be part of that too - all of us want to maximise our value in life.
