WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Is At A Career Low Point Right Now

1. The Emergence Of Daniel Bryan

John Cena may like and respect Daniel Bryan, but make no mistake about it, he doesn't want to lose his spot at the top of the company. For the first time in a really long time, that looks in danger of happening to Cena. The momentum which carried Daniel Bryan into being the first star making Mania win since Batista in 2005 says it all - this could be a new era under a new headliner. Cena's been able to do little about it other than to sit back and comment on what a great job Bryan is doing. Does John really want to be lost in the midcard while Bryan closes the shows in the main event? Of course not, Cena has had nearly a decade on top, he doesn't want to be cast aside. With the emergence of Bryan as the new number one star at least on TV, Cena is perhaps doubting himself and wondering where his career goes from here. The paranoia will be kicking in that if Bryan can match his own merchandise sales then his long run as the franchise star really will be over. For John Cena the future is worryingly unclear, he is struggling with his place and perception in WWE more than ever, and it isn't abundantly clear where he and the company go from here.
