WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Is At A Career Low Point Right Now
8. Win Or Lose Cena Is Going To Get Criticized At Payback
John Cena is stuck between a rock and a hard place at WWE's next pay per view Payback. Say he wins the match, what will the reaction be? Widespread criticism for not elevating the upcoming Bray and more boos that will stick with him because he didn't do what was right for business. If John was to lose the match and put Wyatt over then he isn't going to get any thanks either, he will simply be viewed as the loser who has finally been put down a peg. That isn't an outcome WWE or Cena want, they require him to remain a star, at the same time as they desire Bray to be elevated. So what can Cena really do at Payback other than take another chip to his character? The storyline is building and building that Wyatt is getting the better of Cena and 'poisoning the audience against him', with that being the case you would guess the hero (Cena) has to endure and overcome. But the way this has all gone, Cena isn't the hero, he's loathed. The guy figuratively can't win because WWE have booked him into a corner.
