WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Is At A Career Low Point Right Now
5. WWE Took Away His Dream WrestleMania Match With The Undertaker
Cena had done it all in WWE but one remaining goal was to challenge the Undertaker streak at WrestleMania. This would quite easily have been the biggest streak match ever, two legitimate mega name stars clashing on the grandest stage of them all. The best part would have been the high stakes going in, fans would have perceived Cena (who is the most pushed WWE star ever) as a genuine threat to the streak. That would have resulted in ramped up interest and more buys, this was a match with money written all over it, the leader of one era versus the leader of the new era. The fact they'd rarely met before in the ring was another factor that made it such a surefire hit. That's now all money down the drain. Brock Lesnar as we all know beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 and ended the streak storyline which would have been worth so much value to any Cena / Taker match. John had to have been disappointed, he would have been aware what his long anticipated match with the Deadman would have been worth. They perhaps could still meet at WrestleMania 31, but with the streak gone, it will only be half of what it could have been. Cena has seen his biggest ambition go up in smoke, what ideal does he have to strive for now?
