7. Shake The 'B' Show Label
A majority of Smackdown is spent showing Raw recaps or rematches from Raw. Smackdown worked best when it was an extension of Raw or even when it operated as its own brand. Earlier Smackdown episodes never lacked star power and the show was regularly used to start and progress feuds. The WWE Undisputed Champion for a time was exclusive to Smackdown when Brock refused to defend the title on any other show. Recently though Smackdown is far removed from its must-see heyday. It isn't even marketed half as much as Raw, making Raw feel like a bigger deal. I can't even remember the last time anything of significance has happened on Smackdown. A fan only has to watch Raw to understand what is going on and see the cream of the crop in terms of talent. The last few weeks have been a bit better, with some quality Wyatt and Shield segments, but mostly Smackdown segments simply tread water until Monday nights.
