WWE: 10 Reasons A Live Smackdown Will Be Infinitely More Interesting

6. No Spoilers

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wrqwy65S3QQ Spoilers are huge problem in this media friendly world we live in. Unless you're a hobbit, it is almost impossible to avoid what happens in a movie and or sporting event unless you somehow disconnect yourself from the rest of the world. Some people check the spoilers for Smackdown making it unnecessary for them to watch the show. Even if people try to avoid spoilers it becomes increasingly difficult especially, when WWE does the spoiling on their website. All of the recent title changes on Smackdown have been spoiled before the episode aired. For example, when Orton won the World title from Christian, it was all over Twitter ruining the experience for fans that hadn't seen the match. Some may have tuned in to see the match, which admittedly was great, but the surprise factor was ruined. Spoilers also hurts the product when WWE decides to suddenly drop story-lines. People tune in to see one thing only for it to have been eliminated in post production. A few years ago Kaitlyn was set to join the Divas of Doom, Beth Phoenix and Natalya, but that was quickly dropped even though they had already taped the segment.
