WWE: 10 Reasons Money In The Bank Match Should Return At Wrestlemania 30

3. It Is A Great Show Opener

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4GhG1fH0JA This is slightly different to being 'the highlight of the show' because this one focuses on the crowd. Wrestlemania has always been about the crowd but in recent years, and this twelve month period in particular, we've seen the crowd take over more and more. WWE can go some way to get the crowd on side with the ladder match as the show opener. The match itself creates an excitement in the crowd and gets them nice and noisy for the three and a half hours that follow. They see death-defying leaps, crazy spots and big surprises in who wins. It is the perfect opener. Granted, it didn't always open the show but its rightful place is at the top of a Wrestlemania card. Look at the show openers since the match got its own PPV. Edge defeating Del Rio was a nice start but then we got the 10 second travesty with Sheamus and Bryan which helped neither man and then the six man tag of last year which, while okay, isn't really any different to an average Raw main event. Open the show strong and there is more of a chance the crowd will go with it. Reward them with a great ladder match with brilliant mid-card talent and they'll hopefully remain loud and positive for the rest of the PPV. Hopefully.
