10. Plenty Of Feuds

The versatility of Randy Orton as a worker is an asset to WWE. The man from Missouri is an experienced veteran who can work with just about anyone, and his current character opens him up to multiple feuds across the roster. By having Orton as the unified champion, the WWE have given themselves a more faceted character than Cena would have made in the title role. There are several directions that WWE creative can run with Orton. The most immediately obvious feud would be a continuation with John Cena. The impetus for a rematch is there, Cena never gives up, and he could chase Orton and the gold back down following a Royal Rumble win. Another man who has unfinished business with Randy Orton is Daniel Bryan. Their Autumn feud never ended with a decisive victory. As far as Bryan is concerned, Randy is walking around with Daniel Bryan's championship. A Royal Rumble win for Bryan could see him finally get the even playing field he needs to knock Orton off his perch. The feuds that Orton presents the creative team reach even further than that. CM Punk is heavily tipped to clash with Orton at Wrestlemania 30, and even Triple H has been mooted as a possible opponent. In some ways WWE have teased that already. Orton doesn't look like he fully trusts 'The Game', nor does Hunter looked fully convinced with Randy. They have history, who knows, perhaps Orton turns face with the title and looks to take down his former boss. The possibilities are endless with a talent like Orton who has proved over the years he can do anything asked of him in the ring.
