WWE: 10 Reasons Randy Orton Will Struggle For Relevancy After WrestleMania 30

7. If Orton Turns Babyface, He Has No Fresh Opponents That People Will Want To See Him Wrestle

Above all else, Randy Orton's babyface runs are boring. He's been on top for so long that it oftentimes is difficult to buy him selling against virtually any heel because we've seen the RKO destroy just about everyone in the company. The only person that hasn't been RKO'ed to defeat in a big money match in the company is the Undertaker, and, well, he's probably not turning heel anytime soon. Insofar as heels Orton could wrestle, there's Triple H, Batista and Brock Lesnar. Hunter and Batista make sense post-Wrestlemania if in Randy losing, they want to shoot the angle of The Authority being mad, and having Batista assume Randy's spot as "the face of the WWE." However, Batista's just starting to literally get his footing back in the ring, and I can't imagine that the quality on singles matches against Randy Orton would be anything stellar. As well, I think HHH is smart enough to know that his in-ring competing needs to be limited at this point. Orton and Brock would be amazing, only if to establish Lesnar as a power player. Lesnar giving a grieving, post-loss Orton an F5 and chairshot barrage on the Raw the week after Wrestlemania (likely after Brock has lost to Undertaker, has had time to lick his wounds) could make for really compelling television and pull some great mic work out of Paul Heyman.
