3. The McMahon Machine
One of the main reasons that Roman Reigns will be the future of WWE, is that he is exactly what Vince McMahon looks for in a wrestler. Big, powerful, strong and mean looking. Reigns is reminiscent of some of McMahon's favourite acts such as Diesel and Triple H - big guys who are vicious and look like they are going to rip their opponents to bits. Roman Reigns is a throwback to the days of big man wrestling. You can make a pretty good bet that the force within WWE who has "fast tracked" his push could very well be Vince McMahon himself. And you can understand why Vince is so convinced the future is Reigns - just look at the poor pay per view buys the company has endured when pushing smaller acts such as Daniel Bryan. Yes, the bearded wrestler is insanely popular, but there is no denying that as a pay per view draw he fell short. The buy numbers dropped. The big man look remains a commercial seller to the masses, and McMahon sees Roman Reigns as the perfect type of guy to develop for a main event role. When people see Roman Reigns they see a guy who you don't come across in every day life, when people see Daniel Bryan they see a man they could pass down the street any day of the week.
