WWE: 10 Reasons Seth Rollins Heel Turn Was A Mistake

8. Seth Rollins Needed A Fiery, Jeff Hardy-Style Babyface Run First

There hasn't been a babyface that did what Seth Rollins did in those two "death-defying" dives since Jeff Hardy. It's possible that given that Jeff Hardy isn't likely one of Triple H's favorite babyfaces that he doesn't see the connection between the two of them. Having a babyface that could "exist to inspire" the WWE Universe like Jeff Hardy is something that could have greatly aided the WWE as they develop new stars. This is not to mean that Seth Rollins needed to be the WWE Champion, but having a babyface around that teenage girls and guys could identify with is something that the company lacks at present and it would behoove them to have around. Rollins as a devil-may-care Hardy-style babyface would have certainly paid dividends for the company.
