It goes without saying that some of the biggest turns in professional wrestling have been when a face has turned heel over another super popular Babyface. Austin turning heel on The Rock at WrestleMania X-Seven, and Hulk Hogan dropping the leg on Randy Savage before announcing his alliance with the NWO stand out as perfect examples of this. Currently, Daniel Bryan is right up there with Cena when it comes to being a top Babyface, and what better way for Cena to swerve the fans than by betraying and decimating Daniel Bryan. Not only are they friends with each other, but their real life relationships with the Bella Twins have kept the two very close to each other. Bryan beating Cena at SummerSlam last year showed the world that Bryan is an A+ player, and perhaps deep down Cena hates the fact that the guy got one over on him at one of the biggest shows of the year. Not to mention, the Yes Movement has given Bryan full support while Cena continues to get plenty of boos no matter how hard he tries to win the fans over. Daniel Bryan would make for a great sacrificial goat to summon Cenas return as a heel.
