WWE: 10 Reasons We Want Evolution Vs The Shield At Extreme Rules

1. It's One Of The Last Dream Matches

It's a sad reality to face, but there aren't many dream matches left out there. The likelihood of an Undertaker vs. Sting match took a huge hit this week, the chances of a CM Punk vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin match get worse everyday, we never got to see a Hogan/Austin match and we'll probably never see Shawn Michaels and The Rock go at it. The Shield vs. Evolution is one of the few dream matches that can actually happen. The Shield and Evolution are arguably the two greatest WWE factions of all time. Evolution was dominant during their years in the WWE, and The Shield have conquered just about everyone during their run. It's a match that up until January no one thought was possible. Batista's return changed everything and now there is a real chance to give the people a match they could only theorize about in the past. The match would also be the only multi-man dream match of the last two decades. We never got DX vs. NOW, which is the only other faction showdown that could equal the caliber of The Shield vs. Evolution. This dream match combines the best of what every WWE fan loves in wrestling: a clash of superstars that they never thought they could see, gang warfare, and exciting wrestling, all of which are offered in a Shield vs. Evolution match. They can settle in the ring who is the better collection of talent. The Shield can try to prove that they are the greatest faction of all time and that their individual futures are as bright as Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista's, while Evolution has the opportunity to squash any idea that they aren't the best faction of all time, and show that no collection of superstars will ever match the excellence of Evolution. The match answers so many questions that once were only theoretical, and needs to happen. Give it to us WWE!
