WWE: 10 Reasons We Want Evolution Vs The Shield At Extreme Rules

10. The Match Would Be Great!

Let's get this obvious reason out of the way early. All signs point to the quality of the match itself being pretty spectacular. Look at the competitors on both teams and their track records in the ring and you realize there is absolutely no reason to believe otherwise. With Evolution you have Triple H, one of the most consistently outstanding in-ring performers that the WWE has to offer. Then there's Randy Orton who has pretty great matches with just about anybody capable of giving a good performance in the ring outside of Triple H ironically, who he won't have to wrestle because they're on the same team. Even Batista who is probably the weak link of this team as far as in-ring prowess is concerned has pretty solid performances under his belt, and can be utilized to the best of his abilities in a multi-man match where he doesn't need to carry the load. On the other side you have The Shield: Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. There is no need to spout of their individual excellence in the ring, because their work as a trio speaks for itself. They have never had a bad six-man tag team match, they work together beautifully, and anything they do together is fun to watch because of the fact that they work as unit so efficiently and tactically. They are the first guys in the WWE in a long time to wrestle like they have a real strategy behind what they are doing in the ring. Rather than just trying to set up for their cool spots and meandering through their bouts they isolate and eliminate threats, and that is what makes them such a joy to watch, they have a strategy that goes beyond "target the leg". It's hard to imagine that their match quality would fall off in a match against the members of Evolution and it goes without saying that we're in good hands if this match happens. We will undoubtedly be entertained.
