9. It Delays The Inevitable Shield Break Up

A Shield united means that they aren't broken, and won't be broken up before they battle Evolution, which is pretty spectacular news. Turning The Shield face, and having them truly stand up against injustice has added new life to the trio the collective that can carry them through most of this year. Now while that likely won't be the case, letting them get in a good run as the renegade heroes protecting the WWE from true injustice is key in building to their eventually break-up and allows the fans to see at least a few more stellar Shield six-man tags. The WWE needs to milk The Shield for every match, every segment that they have left in them as a trio. Make us love them, make us not be able to imagine a world without The Shield around to stamp out injustice. We've always appreciated The Shield's work, their philosophy (they were never cowards, simply tactical, which was always respectable), and their entrance through the crowd always lent itseld to them becoming favorites of the people. This run as faces allows the fans to truly appreciate The Shield before they're gone and at the end of the day, anything that delays the separation of The Shield is beautiful thing, which is only more reason that The Shield vs. Evolution rivalry needs to happen.
