WWE: 10 Reasons We Want Evolution Vs The Shield At Extreme Rules
5. Allows The Authority To Focus Their Hatred On Someone Other Than Daniel Bryan
The odyssey of Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority has been a long arduous one. Not everything that happened on the road to Wrestlemania, which started at Summerslam 2013, was what the fans wanted, but it all built to a beautiful moment this past Sunday when Daniel Bryan finally won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Now I know he'll likely never be done with The Authority, but it would be nice if they could divert their attention from him for a short while. He's basically been the sole object of their ire for more than ¾ of a year, and it would be nice to see both sides move on to something different for a little bit. The way that I see things, it's very possible that we get The Shield vs. Kane, Batista & Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H at Extreme Rules, with The Shield vs. Evolution coming after Triple H is unsuccessful in trying to rip the WWE World Heavyweight Championship away from Daniel Bryan. Daniel will be able to go on to something new for a little while and we get one or two PPVs of The Shield vs. Evolution (preferably two).
