WWE: 10 Reasons We Want Evolution Vs The Shield At Extreme Rules

3. Both Factions Have Proven To Be Master Tacticians

These two factions have proven to be very smart about the way they approach their business. Remember, Evolution was founded so that Randy Orton and Batista could learn under the tutelage of Triple H and Ric Flair (two of the all time greatest) while Triple H could manage his young protégés success so that they couldn't overtake him. The whole idea behind their formation was very cunning strategy by Triple H, and in many of their dealings as faction they demonstrated that they were clever bastards. The Shield have proven to be just as smart, if not smarter than Evolution during their run. They don't rush foolhardily into perilous situations, but instead thoroughly examine the battlefield and act in the most efficient and effective way possible. This has never been a group that made rash or foolish decisions. They know the value of retreating when the variables changed, they know the tactical strength of divide and conquer, and their track record shows that they come out on top more times than not because of the fact that they think their movements through and develop the perfect strategies whatever and whomever they face. The fact that the creative behind these teams did such a great job of making them smart and tactical, their feud will become a chess match, with each Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown seeing each side make moves to fortify their stronghold while trying to weakening the others'. The thought of these two factions strategically posturing in the weeks leading up to and within their eventual showdown is absolutely a reason that this match needs to happen.
