WWE: 10 Reasons Why Michael Cole Needs To Be Removed As The 'Voice'

4. There Are So Many Others That Are Better at the Job Than He Is

Recently one of my favourite current colour commentators, Matt Striker, was let go by the WWE. Now this is completely baffling to me. He was the best one they had going. He knew the moves, he knew the back stories of all the wrestlers, had great rapport with his colleagues and he was literally an encyclopedia of wrestling knowledge, in fact one of the most educated wrestling historians I have ever witnessed. But this guy was not as good as Michael Cole? Again, I have to say, are you serious bro? Who actually sat down and come to this god awful insane conclusion. It's even more baffling then the whole "JBL and Cole" show debacle I mentioned earlier. And the fact that they have Joey Styles on their payroll, the greatest commentator in the history of the industry but they choose Michael Cole as the "voice" of the WWE has got to be the most insane, terrible business decision since Enron. I have read online that Joey Styles has stated that he is not interested in commentating anymore but I have to say I believe that is simply code for "I refuse to work under such an incompetent moron like Michael Cole". Hell, every member of the WWE broadcast team is better at their job than Cole is. Scott Stanford, Tony Dawson, Josh Mathews, even Booker T, all more skilled at the commentary position then the current voice of the WWE. And if none of them are to your fancy, how about bringing back Jim Ross or Tazz? How about getting some old school stars in for a run like DDP or Road Dogg? WHY NOT BRING BACK TONY SCHIAVONE? Anyone but Michael Cole. Quite literally, anyone. My cat could show more colour in his observations and he doesn't even talk human.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
