WWE: 10 Returns & Surprises We Want To See For The Network Launch
7. Hulk Hogan Returns
Another lock? Probably. At the end of the day, for all his faults, it'll be great to see the big man back in WWE for a final run. How he'll be used is unknown to us. Again, rumours suggest he won't wrestle so it'll be interesting to see what happens on this night and for the months to come. A big pop for 'Real American' is obvious. A bit of posing for the crowds is a definite too. A shout out for the Network? Contractually obliged. What then? Well, depending on what happens with Cesaro the night before (hopefully a star making performance), the sound of The Real Americans entrance music is likely as Zeb comes down and tries to employ Hogan. Could this lead to a tag match? Maybe, if Hogan is cleared to run one leg drop and pin fall. If not, he could manage a tag team to take down The Real Americans. Maybe Mysterio and Sin Cara? Well, only if Mysterio isn't too badly injured and Sin Cara still 'exists'. More likely would be The Uso's. One of the most over teams at the moment. Even better would be for, somehow, The Real Americans to win the tag titles before WrestleMania so any tag match would be for the gold. There is the chance that we could see a legendary stable face-off. With Kevin Nash returning at the Rumble, and Scott Hall a probable for the Hall of Fame, we could potentially see a brief reformation of the NWO. Could this see them go face-to-face with HHH, the New Age Outlaws and Shawn Michaels having a DX-style in-ring party? Hopefully. Hogan being involved in the Main Event makes no sense. Hogan cheering on some young up-and-comers before, maybe, becoming Smackdown General Manager makes a whole lot of sense. He could become Raw GM but what with The Authority storyline, inserting the Hulkster there would muddy the waters. Either way, Hogan returns and is cheered to the rafters.
