WWE: 10 Most Ridiculous Celebrity Cameos In Wrestling History

2. Clara Peller And Herb

WrestleMania 2 was on a guest star overload. We had Joan Rivers, Ricky Schroeder (who was the Jonathan Taylor Thomas of his day), Mr. T, G. Gordon Liddy, a bunch of NFL players and two people from fast food commercials. It was a very strange bunch. Now, you might know what D-Generation X is about to say when they tell you they have two words for you. But what if someone said they had three words for you? Those words would be "Where's the Beef?" Well, that's the line that brought Clara Peller to WrestleMania 2 anyway. Clara gained her 15 minutes of fame from a Wendy's commercial in the 80s, in which she (and two other grandmas) were disappointed with the size of the meat on their burger. They just wanted some more beef, that's all. She was also joined at the event by "Herb", who was apparently the only man in America who hadn't eaten at a Burger King. Sure, they were on TV a thousand times a day due to the popularity of the commercials, but what does that have to do with hand-to-hand combat? Sadly, the two didn't fight in a match. That would have at least been bizarrely entertaining. Instead, they were both time keepers. If only Ronald McDonald would have been present to complete the fast food celebrity involvement. Seriously, watch the commercial above. That woman was on WWE, and nobody quite knows why.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
