4. The Title Win

I do believe that if Sting has a full time year with WWE he will get the championship. It is the one piece of important recognition missing from his trophy cabinet, and he has to go after it. In recognition of his service to the industry I believe Vince McMahon would recognize Sting's run with a title winning moment. It's probably even came up in contract negotiations. With Sting beating Orton at Summerslam, it would be the perfect time to move on ascending him to the title. A rematch with Orton that also serves as a number one contender bout could be done at the September PPV. In October I envision Sting rising to this challenge against the Champion. I would probably have John Cena in the title role. It would be the biggest match WWE could do, franchise vs franchise. Cena wouldn't be hurt by the loss and down the line he can get the title back to further his legacy of most WWE titles won. Cena could even be a heel by then which is even more dynamic, but face vs face works fine too given Cena's edge.
