Featured Match: Raven vs. Kane vs. Big Show, Hardcore Championship. WrestleMania XVII. At the Astrodome in Houston, Texas, at WrestleMania 17, Raven had a grandiose plan: to drive a golf cart- with Big Show in the back- around the entire concourse, with Kane and a referee in another following closely behind. It would have been a memorable spot, had Raven not crashed his golf cart five seconds into the proposed chase. Thinking fast, Kane and Raven separately came up with the same great Plan B: run over Raven with the cart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fe__p8TwwcA The vehicular assault did little to slow down Raven, and the match continued for several more minutes before Kane pinned Big Show out on the ramp area to win the Hardcore Championship. Interestingly, Raven shared years later that he almost hit some important cables when he crashed his cart: satellite truck cables, that would have caused the entire PPV to go dark three matches into what many have called the greatest WrestleMania of all time.
