WWE: 10 Superstar Gimmicks That Are Total Rip Offs

10. Chuck Palumbo

Taker Chuck

Original Gimmick: The Undertaker The Undertaker has had more character changes than Madonna, but, the version that stands out like a sore thumb when you think of Big Evil is €˜the American Badass€™ gimmick. The wrestler€™s other personas such as the Deadman, The Lord of Darkness and The Phenom were all very mysterious, demonic and dominant. The American Badass on the other hand was a tough guy biker, who would come down to the ring on a Harley Davidson as his Limp Bizkit entrance song rocked out across the arena. In 2007 Chuck Palumbo re-emerged after a short absence from the WWE, and appeared to have raiding The Undertaker's old wardrobe. He also had an entrance that would see him cruising down to the ring on a motorcycle as rock music played. Whilst many fans found The Undertaker€™s biker gimmick hard to stomach, due to not being keen on seeing a €˜human€™ version of the wrestler, even less people were ready to accept Palumbo as being legit. Chuck€™s last popular gimmick was a very camp character that had pigtails, a personal stylist and was €˜engaged€™ to his tag team partner. The fans had no interest in entertaining the idea of him as a badass biker. The irony being that Palumbo is actually a big motorcycle enthusiastic in real life. Palumbo€™s character soon went away and The Undertaker would morph into The Phenom, making the whole world happy again.
