Evolution Legacy

Original Gimmick: Evolution Evolution were/ are an incredible stable made up from four of the most successful men in the wrestling business: Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista. The concept of the group was pretty straight forward; between them they represented the evolution of wrestling. The two rookie wrestlers being the future, Triple H's recent dominance representing the present and Ric Flair€™s history in the business symbolising the past. It€™s questionable how flattering it is to be the past€™s representative, when you€™re still an active member of the roster, but either way, the group made one hell of a team. Only three years after Evolution parted ways the WWE brought us legacy. Randy Orton was the leader within the faction and had upgraded to the present force within the WWE, the viper held the WWE title whilst leading the group. The other two members of the stable, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, were a pair of young, relatively new wrestlers that would help Orton out when he was in trouble, very much duplicating Batista and Orton€™s old roles in Evolution. Each member had a father who previously had success with the WWE in the past; hence the name Legacy. Both groups were very successful and held various titles during their runs. They were shown to have the mentality of a ruthless pack of wolves and would assault a fellow member€™s opponent to change the direction of a match; both stables received major heat from the crowd.
