WWE: 10 Superstars Who Desperately Need A Heel Or Face Turn

6. Shawn Michaels

hbk In his WWE run from 2002 to 2010, Shawn Michaels was almost exclusively a babyface. He went as a heel for about a month against Hulk Hogan in 2005 and it was an absolute riot. HBK carries amazing swagger as a heel, his promos have an exciting edge of intensity and he left fans wishing for more. Despite retiring in 2010, recent rumours of a Michaels in ring return have started circulating. If HBK is indeed going to wrestle again it would be great to see him do it as a heel. The obvious candidate to face heel Michaels is super face Bryan. The story is already beautifully set up after HBK cost Bryan the title at Hell in a Cell, followed by Bryan injuring Michaels the next night on Raw. The two men could now meet at Wrestlemania 30, and Michaels could cut some of the best heel promos and segments of his career in the buildup to this. If you watch back to Michaels' work from 1997, you will know he can be absolutely lethal as a heel against a likable babyface. So, will it happen? Well Michaels has confirmed that WWE has been in touch about further dates with the company. But that doesn't necessarily mean he is wrestling again. If he is coming back though, you would expect it would be to build on his conflict with Daniel Bryan. A heel Shawn Michaels may very well be on the WWE horizon.
