WWE: 10 Superstars Who Desperately Need A Heel Or Face Turn

4. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar Granted, Lesnar plays the bully heel to perfection. He is a big mean giant. But the law of diminishing returns means that WWE should at some point consider turning him face in the interests of freshness and re-engaging fans. A Lesnar heel turn would make for huge news and get people talking. It also sets up a range of exciting opponents for Brock to face at Wrestlemania. The fact is that Lesnar has played the same act for Cena, Hunter and Punk. They need to do something new for whoever he faces next. If they go with Lesnar v Taker at Wrestlemania then that match is perfect for Lesnar as a heel as the story is already built in from the pair's real life fallout. But if Lesnar is to face someone else, he should do so as a face. Imagine the pop he would get if he came out to confront Ryback. Or how about Alberto Del Rio, the only other man in WWE with MMA experience. WWE could promote it as a battle of Ultimate Fighters but without the rules. Lesnar is a great heel, but his biggest run in WWE as a headliner was as a face in 2003. It would be interesting to see 'The Beast' revisit those days again.
