http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4WRWA4z1uw The Problem: Christian has had the same theme since 2009 and while I'm not one to say that we should change for change's sake this theme, I feel, has run it's course. Christian has been one of the mainstays in WWE since his return from TNA. He is seemingly incapable of having an outright bad match, and though he was overshadowed by Edge for a large part of his career his run as World Heavyweight Champion I thought started very well, and could have been great. Christian is not in the current main event scene, and has just turned 40, so he's probably not going to be challenging for the new unified Championship. However as an impact player in the upper midcard he could be brilliant, he is capable of great matches, especially with guys like Del Rio or Dolph Ziggler. Christian is probably going to return as a face. Certainly the fans will cheer his return to the ring, recognising him a veteran worthy of respect. When Christian returned to WWE in 2009 to engage with ECW champion Jack Swagger the new music was high impact and got the reaction Christian and the WWE wanted. Some new music could help him make a real impact, especially if they wanted to tweak his character in some way, when he makes his latest return from injury. Christian's current music means nothing to me lyrically "If you close your eyes, your life, a naked truth revealed, dreams you never lived and scars never healed." When I close my eyes I don't see any naked truth or any scars that will never heal. I normally just imagine a world where zip-lines are the primary method of transport, and the world has never been happier. The Solution: I hope I'm not a wrestling fan who just believes that wrestling is getting worse and worse and things were always better back when I first started watching, but this is a case where I'd love a wrestler to go back rather than forward. Christian's full entrance between 2001 and 2003 is one of my favourite in WWE history. His music, with a choir singing his name, and the shower of sparks to mark his entrance I thought was fantastic. Though this was done with a touch of irony in 2001, showing how much more Christian thought about himself than everyone else did, I feel that a spectacular entrance could be used to make a real fuss of Christian returning, and adding a bit of pomp and ceremony to one of WWE's most reliable performers.
