WWE: 10 Superstars Who Desperately Need New Entrance Music

8. Brodus Clay

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-wZwnCsNEs The Problem: I've not enjoyed Brodus' current gimmick, and I think others might feel the same. I've not understood what the WWE has to gain from showing Brodus in this light, and it might just be to my eyes, but he's never looked comfortable out there dancing and playing the court jester. We've seen in the last few weeks the breakdown of his relationship with Tensai and the beginnings of a new Brodus Clay emerging. One of the essential things that I feel Brodus will need is music with an impact to get the crowd excited about seeing this ass-kicker enter the arena and deal out some damage. When WWE gets tough man music right it is a spectacular sight, but nothing is going to take away from the first sight of a new malevolent force of Brodus Clay like a generic theme that says nothing about him as a wrestler. There is no one route for this style of tune. Two wrestlers (who had an extraordinary moment on last weeks Raw) who have pitch perfect music, in my eyes at least, are Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry. Both these tunes let you know that someone is about to get hurt. The screeching twisting guitar at the start of Lesnar's music followed by that heavy riff let you know this man means business and he's about to come marching down to the ring. While Henry has a different genre for his theme, but that simple refrain "Somebody going to get their ass-kicked" is perfect. Brodus needs to make sure that he comes out to make an impact, and the music as he makes his way to ring will be essential. The Solution: I've always liked entrance music to have an impact noise, either a sound effect or a memorable riff to let you know what's going to come next. You knew that business was about to pick up with that one sound, you heard glass shatter you knew Steve Austin was coming to whoop some ass, you heard tyres screeching then you knew Mankind was coming to cause chaos. Brodus will all his references to dinosaurs could really use one of these noises. The image at the end of the film Jurassic Park, with the T-Rex standing tall and roaring to the sky is legendary, and that noise has become synonymous with reptilian destruction. Incorporating that noise into the introduction of Brodus' music could be a great way to give this guy some impact as he comes to the ring.
