WWE: 10 Superstars Who Desperately Need New Entrance Music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVsSiUhVsUI The Problem: I don't think 3 Man Band are a problem in WWE, I think they are a brilliant use of enhancement talent. They are played with some great skill, especially in my eyes Heath Slater who has completely involved himself in this role. The problem lies not with the gimmick, the problem lies with their music. It's completely forgettable, and that should be the opposite of what occurs with this gimmick. The first scream of their name I think is fine, but the rest of the song is neither spectacular in it's quality or laughable in it's performance, and from a group of wannabe rockers that's what we should get. One of the problems I have with the current WWE story telling is that there is often only a coherent story for those at the top of the card, while those that are further down are just left alone. It might just be my rose tinted spectacles, but when the WWE was at it's best there seemed to be threads of story that ran all the way down the card, and often led to resolution at PPV's with matches in the undercard, rather than just hastily thrown together matches. The idea that these guys are not talented musicians, but just goofs who like to dress as rockers and pretend to be rock stars is completely fine, however the dynamics of bands, and the tensions that emerge between band members is well documented, and WWE could really pull some strings with this act and create some internal tensions in the group as well as having some real fun with the group. The Solution: Have the band attempting to always create new theme songs, 3MB did brilliantly with their work as the Union Jacks when in their UK and I love the idea that they try to create a hit theme, with Slater as the front man getting more pretentious an conceited. Alternatively you could end up with the group getting cheap pops by recreating the hit themes of home town wrestlers or local artists, only to disappoint when they come out murdering the live vocals. 3MB starting Shawn Michaels music in Texas and then changing the lyrics to be about themselves rather than HBK would get them some heat and add some extra spice to any encounter, especially one where you see the band get their comeuppance. The three guys have all shown that they are willing to laugh at themselves, and I think they understand where on the card they sit, so making the most of their on-screen time could really work to get some of these wrestlers over.
