WWE: 10 Superstars Who Should Have Been Head Of Creative

8. Zeb Colter

Zeb For the casual wrestling fan, this may seem like a strange decision, considering that the redneck man with the mic just seems like a guy who can carry Jack Swagger over due to the latter's lack of personality. However, anyone with any knowledge of wrestling history will be able to inform said casual fan that Zeb Colter is better known as Dutch Mantell- possibly one of the all time great territorial bookers. A Mantell-led creative would no doubt attempt to strip back some of the complexities that the 'entertainment' element of the WWE has created for wrestling. These would include over complicated storylines that are mired with holes, trying to anticipate the audience's wants rather than just listening to them and possibly the crossover elements of things such as 'apps' and reality shows. Mantell has consistently voiced opinions that simple heel/face programs with good promos will do better than complex ones that become difficult to unravel from. Furthermore, Mantell would probably limit the amount of screwy finishes on his programs and keep it simpler in order to get his talent where it needed to be.
