WWE: 10 Superstars You Will Be Surprised Are 10 Year Company Veterans

2. Damien Sandow

You might think of Damien Sandow as a young emerging rookie who has risen to a decent midcard role since debuting as 'The Intellectual Saviour Of The Masses' in 2012. In fact Sandow has been on the WWE books since 2002! He first signed with the company after a series of successful WWE Sunday Night Heat matches against the likes of Maven, Stevie Richards and Raven. Next up was a stint in OVW where he made a name for himself as Aaron Stevens, before getting back to the main WWE in 2006 on Smackdown. Working as Idol Stevens he was managed by Michelle McCool, mostly working in tag matches with KC James against the ultra talented Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Unfortunately the feud never really went anywhere and he found himself back in OVW a short while later. Sadly for the talented grappler, he ended up getting released in 2007. He is still worthy of being on this list because it was only a couple of years before WWE brought him back again, although he competed in the indies for a while he has mostly been a WWE mainstay for the last decade. His 2010 return saw him posted to Florida Championship Wrestling before he became a television regular with his Damien Sandow character in 2012. Since then he has became one of the hottest prospects on the WWE roster, a brilliant in-ring and microphone worker. Having been a Money In The Bank Winner in 2013, let's hope Sandow gets a chance again for championship glory down the road. After paying his dues for a decade in WWE rings, the talented grappler deserves it.
