5. Hulk Hogan vs The Big Show
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SfRsM-nUoI When talking about 'WrestleMania Moments' the biggest one of all time is without a doubt when Hogan slammed Andre The Giant. That moment has probably been replayed more than any other in WrestleMania history as it sums up the spectacle that WrestleMania is. Unfortunately the legendary Andre is now in the great wrestling ring in the sky and he can't be a part of the thirtieth annual WrestleMania. That doesn't mean he can't be honoured through a fitting tribute to his most famous moment. Just as he helped The Undertaker get into wrestling, Hogan also got The Big Show involved in the sport, by bringing him into WCW. When Hogan did this, the thing that appealed to Hogan is that The Giant, as he became known as in WCW was a lot like Andre. The idea of Hogan and Big Show recreating the WrestleMania III moment has come up before, with talk of it happening previously at WrestleMania 23. Alas this wasn't to be as circumstances led to neither Hogan or Big Show being with the WWE at that time. The hope was that the two men could have a match and the slam on the twentieth anniversary of when Hogan originally slammed Andre. This didn't happen, but the WWE attempted to recreate the moment in both their absences by pitting Kane against The Great Khali. Sure enough, Kane slammed Khali, but this was always going to come off as a poor tribute for several reasons. Kane is not the All American Superhero that Hogan was. The Great Khali, whilst taller than Andre (although not billed as such) doesn't have the same mass, so that combined with the larger size of Kane compared to Hogan meant we got a body slam which was far less visually impressive as the Hogan one.
