WWE: 10 Things That Must Happen Before 2014 Ends

8. Ryback Must Bring Back His "Feed Me More" Catchphrase

He made his highly anticipated return to WWE TV in April 2012, repackaged as Ryback. For several months, Ryback ran rampant on the roster, squashing two, sometimes three competitors at a time. After a while, he began to form a connection with the crowds with his "Feed Me More" catchphrase as they chanted along with his in-ring mannerisms. Ryback quickly caught fire and became one of the most popular Superstars in the company at the time. By the end of the year, he was headlining pay-per-views for the WWE Championship against the likes of John Cena and CM Punk, but came up short at both the Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series events. Despite his constant losses on PPV, Ryback maintained his popularity with the WWE fan base going into 2013. One night removed from losing to Mark Henry at WrestleMania 30, Ryback turned his back on the WWE Universe when he ambushed John Cena. The next week, he explained his actions by claiming that aligning with the WWE Universe didn't get him anywhere and that he no longer needed his support. Although his heel turn seemed like a good idea in theory, it completely backfired and ruined any momentum he had going up to that point. Since feuding with Cena over the WWE title in the spring of 2013, Ryback has done next to nothing in WWE. His partnership with Paul Heyman in the fall flopped and his tandem with Curtis Axel hasn't found any success. It's still a mystery as to why WWE opted to turn him heel last year when he was at his hottest, but there's still time to right the wrong. Ryback has stated in the past that not a matter of if but when his classic catchphrase will make a comeback. Based off the crowd chanting "Feed Me More" during his matches in recent weeks, perhaps it could sooner rather than later. Turning back face might not guarantee that Ryback will be as successful this time around, but it's worth a shot and beats anything he's doing (or not doing) at the moment.
